Pascal Johnson is a choreographer, dancer and creative producer. He danced a decade with top ballet companies Dutch National Ballet and Scottish Ballet, where he performed work by William Forsythe, David Dawson, Crystal Pite and Hans van Manen among others.
Pascal began creating work for Dutch National Ballet’s choreographic lab New Moves, where he created multiple pieces alongside curating and producing the programme. During covid he began creating dance works specifically for film culminating in his film ‘New Earth’ where he worked with composer Erland Cooper, cinematographer Tasha Duursma and received funding from Amsterdam fund for the arts.
Pascal creates concept driven work that connects dancers and audiences further to their own humanity, as he seeks to explore the difference between one's internal and external reality.
Pascal also works as a choreographer and movement director in advertising and fashion. He has worked for global brands such as NIKE SB, Calvin Klein and Apple.
As a creative producer Pascal produces both photography and video in advertising, fashion, art and narrative shorts.
